Carl “Hoss” Richardson
Grandview, TX – Funeral services for Carl “Hoss” Richardson, 79, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at Watts Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Kevin Diggs officiating. Burial will follow in Watts Chapel Cemetery.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Serving as pallbearers will be R. L. Dobbins, Andy Shindler, Monty Wills, Wayne Richardson, Austin Richardson, and Howard McAdams.
Hoss Richardson passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Dothan, Texas on May 10, 1933, the son of Ina (Evans) and Carl Addison Richardson. Hoss served his country in the Texas National Guard and was employed at Bell Helicopter for 42 years. He was a member of Watts Chapel United Methodist Church.
Hoss was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Billey Jean Godwin Richardson; sons, Preston Cain and Carl Richardson III; and daughters, Carolyn Whittley and Denise Richardson.
He is survived by sons, Carl E. Richardson of Kennedale, Texas and Mike Richardson of Mansfield; special friend, Alicia Reese; brothers, William E. Lem and Ray Kelly Lem; sisters, Lavonne Jordan and Audie Louise Slough; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
