Riley Andrew "Andy" Elam

Riley Andrew "Andy" Elam, 66, of Victoria, Texas passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025, at the Grandview Community Center.

Andy was born in Cleburne, Texas on January 30, 1958, the son of Mary Lou (Cryer) and Albert Riley Elam, Jr.

He was an engineer with Union Pacific Railroad.

He was an avid scuba diver and patronized the Scuba Shack in San Antonio, Texas as well as enjoying roller skating; especially at Sk8land in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, B.J. Elam.

He is survived by his sons, Benton Elam and wife, Valerie, of New Port, Washington and Dwayne Lee Commons and wife, Angel, of Alvarado, Texas; granddaughters, Heaven Stanley and husband, Caleb, of Victoria, Texas and Bonnie Benavides and husband, Alex, of Midlothian, Texas; three great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Elam of Cleburne; sister, Ruthie Roden of Grandview, Texas; and many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
