Linda Roberts

Linda Sue Roberts, 65, passed away on April 29, 2016. She was born October 2, 1950 to Eva Nell (Pedigo) and Henry Washington McGonagill in Cleburne, TX. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Triplett officiating.
Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
A visitation will be held for family and friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Linda attended Cooke School and graduated from CHS in 1969. She married Dee Roberts on January 11, 1974 in Cleburne and was a member of Westhill Church of Christ. After working as a secretary for nearly 20 years at Bob Harris Oil Company, Linda retired and began keeping children at her home and teaching preschool. Many of her children graduated with honors.
She was very supportive in all of her daughter’s activities. In 1991, she was stricken with multiple sclerosis and since 1999 she was confined to a wheelchair. For the last five years of her life, she was basically bed ridden. She never complained about her situation and loved her Lord and Savior through all her trials and tribulations. Linda never lost her smile and positive attitude.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Danny McGonagill; and grandmother, Essie Pedigo.
Linda is survived by her husband and care giver, Dee Roberts of Cleburne; daughter, Ashley Roberts of Granbury, TX; step-daughter, Karen Roberts of Cleburne; granddaughter, Echo Henson of Cleburne; daughter-in-law, Laura Frost; nephews, Shawn McGonagill and wife Hillary of Cleburne and Monty McGonagill of Waxahachie, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
