Joyce Roden

Joshua, TX—Graveside services for Joyce Roden, 83 of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 12 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Odom Cemetery in Grandview, Texas.
The family will receive visitors from 9 – 11 a.m. at Rosser Funeral Home, Tuesday before the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Roden, Cody Roden, Coy Roden, Chad Dean, Taylor Roden, James Melson, Yale Clark and Tony Richardson.
Mrs. Roden passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 in Keene, Texas. She was born in Post, Texas on September 7, 1929, the daughter of Cleo (Brock) and Andrew Kiker.
Joyce and Lorn Roden were married on June 29, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was retired from the Castleberry ISD where she worked as a cafeteria supervisor and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lorn.
Joyce is survived by her children, Mike Roden and wife, Kathy, of Joshua and Roger Roden of Mansfield, Texas; daughters, Debbie Melson and husband, Gary, of Osceola, Texas, Ava Roden and Lisa Clark, both of Cleburne, Texas; brother, Doyle Kiker of Arlington; grandchildren, Brandon, Chad, Tony, Amanda, Cody, Britni, Coy, Taylor, Yale, Haley, James, and Gary Don; and 13 great grandchildren.
