Glen Edward Roof, Sr.

Funeral service for Glen Edward Roof, Sr., 96, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 30, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne with Pastor Andy Tyler officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Doyle Willis, Tim Finley, Garrett Finley, Kolby Russell, James Crago, and Tyler Nuss.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Glen Edward Roof, Sr. passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born October 22, 1924 in Cleburne to Gertrude (Robinson) and John Nicholas Roof.
Glen served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a pharmacist and a rancher. He was a member of St Mark United Methodist Church in Cleburne. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine Roof; infant daughter, Patricia Roof; and brother, Nick Roof, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Dian Roof; son, Glen Roof, Jr.; daughter, Cheri Griffin and husband, Clay; stepdaughters, Robbie Finley and husband, Tim and Misty Willis and husband, Doyle, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Amanda Griffin, Brandon Griffin and wife Rachel, Charli Roof, Rachel Russell and husband, Kolby, Ryan Finley, Garrett Finley and wife, Alicia, Desirea Willis, and Samantha Willis; great grandchildren, Peyton Griffin, Mason Russell, Cole Russell, Case Finley and Brandt Finley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
