Irene Roth passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020. She was born November 6, 1924 in Athens, PA to Don and Inez Grippin. She married Herbert Roth on July 20, 1952 and they lived in Ohio and Maryland before moving to Keene in 1969. Irene and Herb worked at their beloved SWAU until retiring, Irene in the Records office helping students meet graduation requirements and Herb retired as the Chairman of the English department.
She is survived by daughter Dorene Roth Arauzo and husband Art Arauzo, MD and three beloved grandchildren, Alektra, Avalon and Adonis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date when it is safe to gather and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Herbert and Irene Roth scholarship fund at Southwestern Adventist University, 100 Hillcrest Drive, Keene, TX. 76059.
