Obituary for Dorothy F. Rue (Wilson)
DALLAS – Funeral services for Dorothy F. Rue, 92, of Dallas, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas. Dr. R.D. Noel will officiate.
Interment will follow in Greenacres Cemetery in Cleburne.
A visitation will be held from 4 - 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rue died Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, in Dallas.
She was born in Hillsboro on Sept. 26, 1921, the daughter of Maggie Lawson and Horace Floyd Wilson Sr.
Dorothy was a member of Cleburne Baptist Temple. She was retired and had delivered papers for a number of years in rural areas for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Dorothy never met a stranger. If you saw her and you had a frown on your face, she would make you smile. She loved attending church because she loved the Lord. When He made Dorothy, He made a person people wanted to be around.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Rue; brothers, Roy Wilson, Floyd Wilson, H. F. Wilson Jr. and Weldon Wilson.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Sarah Huggins; and grandson, Eric Huggins, both of Dallas.
