Funeral services for Glenn Curtis Sanders, 78, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Hall officiating; assisted by the Rev. John Glover. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Lloyd Anderson, Gene Vidler, Donnie Cody, Larry Rodgers, E. P. Wooley, and Orvil Rice. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Sanders, Charles Farrell, and Joe Sam Hays.
Mr. Sanders passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2011 at his home. He was born in Kenney, Texas on April 2, 1933, the son of Margaret (Shultz) and William F. Sanders.
Glenn married Johnetta Carlisle on August 23, 1953 in Kopperl, Texas. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Glenn was an electrician with Santa Fe and was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Sanders; and brother, Kirby Sanders.
Glenn Sanders is survived by his wife, Johnetta Sanders; daughter, Glenda Sanders Woodruff and husband, Dean, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Callie Woodruff Albin and husband, Andrew, Anna Woodruff, and Michael Sanders.
