Funeral services for Johnetta Carlisle Sanders, 79, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Glover officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie Cody, Landon Cody, Les Johnson, Rebel Jones and Larry Rodgers.
Mrs. Sanders passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Kopperl, Texas on March 11, 1935 to Toby and Callie Inez (Robinson) Carlisle.
Johnetta and Glenn Sanders were married Aug. 23, 1953 in Kopperl. She worked at Marti Electronics and was a long time member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Johnetta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Sanders; and son, David Sanders.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Sanders Woodruff and husband, Dean, of Cleburne; daughter-in-law, Lynne Sanders of Georgia; grandchildren, Callie Albin, Michael Sanders and Anna Woodruff; great granddaughter, Devynn Velarde; brothers, Jimmy Carlisle and wife, Maggie, of Cleburne, Jack Carlisle and wife, Candy, of Oregon; sister, Bobbye White of Fort Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
