Marcell Seay

Services for Marcell Matthews Seay, 76, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Chaplain Larry Snyder will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Marcell passed away on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016 in Cleburne, Texas. She was born May 18, 1940 in Cleburne, Texas to Annie (Thacker) and J.C. Matthews. Marcell graduated from Cleburne High School and then attended Tarleton State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Marcell worked as a registered nurse in a memory care facility until she became ill and could no longer work. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and the Dallas Cowboys.
Marcell was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Seay and wife, Julie, Marvin Seay and companion, Crystal, all of San Angelo, Texas; daughter, Lisa Seay Montgomery of Cleburne; brother, Cecil Matthews and wife Nelda; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
