Georgia Shelby

Services for Georgia Mae Shelby, 92, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 12 noon, Monday, Aug. 17, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cleburne, Texas. Bishop Adam Bond will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at the church from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. before the service.
Georgia passed away on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born May 23, 1923 in Grayson, Louisiana.
Georgia was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Shelby of Cleburne; sons, Charles E. Shelby, Jr. of Cleburne and Edward Shelby and wife, Cindy, of Mansfield; grandchildren, Simone Shelby, Nathan Shelby, Carri Shelby, and Justin Shelby; and great-grandchildren, Nicole Shelby, Brandon Laliberte, Natalie Shelby, Sierra Shelby, Reese Laliberte, Summer Shelby, and Kason Shelby.
Memorials may be made in Georgia’s memory to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 303 Nolan River Road, Cleburne, Texas 76033.
