Lee Sherman

Graveside services for Howard Lee Sherman, 64, of Benbrook, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 at the Godley Cemetery in Godley, Texas.
Following the service, friends and family are welcome to come to Cindy and Lee’s home for light refreshments.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Sherman passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Godley on May 19, 1951, the son of Ruby (Shockey) and Mac Dow Sherman.
Lee married Cynthia Thompson on May 5, 1985 in Fort Worth. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War.
Lee was a professional wood worker as well as a car salesman and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wayne, Joe, Charles Mack and Bill; and sister, June Fisher.
Lee is survived by his wife, Cindy Sherman of Benbrook; daughter, Marie Sherman; sisters, Maxine Herrod and Deloris Griffith and husband, Robert, all of Burleson, Texas; and a close and loving extended family.
