Shirley Terry Scarbrough

A funeral service for Shirley Terry Scarbrough, 85, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in the Henderson Street Baptist Church with Dr. Neale Oliver officiating. Interment will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Rickey Looper, Roddy Looper, Will Crossland, Davis Scarbrough, Joshua Scarbrough and Jordan Scarbrough.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 A.M.-10:00 A.M., Wednesday, at the church, prior to the service.

Shirley Terry Scarbrough passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Keene. She was born September 12, 1937 in Grandview, Texas to Ruth (Ethridge) and Davis Terry.

Shirley was a LVN and a longtime member of Henderson Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Scarbrough and wife, Janet of Cleburne and Randy Scarbrough and wife, Caryn of Grandview; daughters, Cynthia Crossland of Lewisville, Beverly Scarbrough of Covington and Sue Looper and husband, Randy of Grandview; grandchildren, Rickey Looper and wife, Patricia of Blooming Grove, Roddy Looper and wife, Katie of Wichita Falls, Will Crossland and wife, Justine of Carrollton, McKenzie Scarbrough, Bailey Scarbrough and Davis Scarbrough, all of Grandview, Joshua Scarbrough and wife Jenna of Alvarado and Jordon Scarbrough of Cleburne; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Barrett of Cleburne; brothers, James Terry and wife, Betty of Cleburne, T.J. Terry of Weatherford, and Sammy Terry and wife, Sharlotte of New Braunfels; and many other extended family and friends.
