Funeral services for Carol Jean Short, 82, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Bell, Todd Lawson, Bradley Kerley, Brett Bell, Brooks Bell and J.D. Kerley.
Mrs. Short passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in Cleburne. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 23, 1937, the daughter of Ethel (Foster) and Edgar Miller.
Mrs. Short was an educational aide and attended Bethel Temple in Cleburne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Short; and brother, Richard Miller.
Mrs. Short is survived by her daughters, Marquita Kerley and husband, Bradley, of Flower Mound, Texas, Michelle Bell and husband, Bobby, of Covington, Texas and Monique Lawson and husband, Todd, of Keller, Texas; brother, Glenn Miller of Arkansas; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to your local Battered Women’s Shelter.
