Christine Blasingame Smith, 85, of Cleburne, Texas passed on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born March 24, 1930 in Cusseta, Georgia to Mary (Jones) and Thomas Turner Blasingame, Sr. A celebration of her life will be held 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015 at Melissa Conley’s home, 1638 Turtledove, Cleburne, Texas.
Christine married Robert L. Smith on Nov. 24, 1957 in Cusseta, Georgia and she was of Methodist faith.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert L. Smith; and brothers, Tommy Blasingame and Billy Blasingame.
She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Emery and husband, Thomas, of Indio, California, Laura Melissa Conley of Cleburne; grandchildren, Chris Emery and wife, Ribeka, Larry Conley, Jr. and wife, Camille, Kyle Emery and wife, Misti, and Katy Santos and husband, Jose; and great-grandchildren, Ella and Tate Conley, Jake, Rylin, Brayden, and Kiki Emery.
