Donald Smith

Funeral services for Donald E. Smith, 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Glover officiating. Burial will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Jones, Brian Smith, Derek Smith, Turner Larkins, Bradley Garey and Timothy Garey.
Mr. Smith passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Corsicana, Texas on April 28, 1936, the son of Jewel (Russell) and Alphus A. Smith.
Mr. Smith proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married Barbara Jowell on April 2, 1960 in Cleburne. He was retired from Champion International Paper Company where he was plant engineer.
Mr. Smith was a long time member of Field Street Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Barbara.
Mr. Smith is survived by his sons, Michael Jones and wife, Kathy, of Cleburne and Randy Smith and wife, Ellen, of Austin, Texas; daughter, Donna Larkins and husband, Pete, of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Kimberly Jones, Patrick Jones, Brian Smith, Derek Smith and Turner Larkins; and great grandchildren, Carolynn and Landon Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Texas or to Field Street Baptist Church.
