Obituary for Juanita Kathleen Smith (Goodwin)

Funeral services for Juanita Kathleen Smith, 87, of Cleburne, Texas, formerly of Eldorado, Ark., will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Nancy Schneider officiating. There is no visitation scheduled.
Mrs. Smith passed away Friday, March 7, 2014, in Keene, Texas. She was born in El Dorado, Ark. on May 7, 1926, the daughter of Erma (Hall) and Henry Adrain Goodwin. Juanita married James E. Smith in El Dorado.
Juanita was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in El Dorado and lived on North Wyatt Drive, formerly Myrtle Grove Road for many years. She was a homemaker. Juanita was an avid reader and crossword puzzle solver. She loved to play the piano, and to crochet and tat. She enjoyed fishing and flea markets. Juanita worked with husband’s leather craft and saddle shop.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James E. Smith, Sr.; three sisters, and two brothers.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Jensen and husband, Allan, of Cleburne; son, James E. Smith, Jr; brother, Ronnie Dean Goodwin; sisters, Mary Alice Cross and Connie Jean Lee, all of El Dorado; grandchildren, Chris Morgan, Brice Morgan, Austin Hallowell, Trey Smith, and Dr. Justin Smith; and four great grandchildren.
