Obituary for Steven Cody Smith
A memorial service celebrating the life of Steven Cody Smith, 36, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at Emmanuel Temple, 501 Robbins Street in Cleburne. Pastor Charles Chandler, Jr. will officiate.
Steven passed away on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Cleburne on Dec. 4, 1977, the son of Melba (May) and Wayne Smith.
Steven married Sherryta Jarmon on Feb. 2, 2006 in Cleburne. He was a mechanic with Johns Manville and was a member of Emanuel Temple.
Steven was preceded in death by his Nanny and Pawpaw; sister, Jodie Smith; and aunt, Elizabeth Pickett.
He is survived by his wife, Sherryta Smith of Cleburne; sons, Stevie Smith, Jr of Nevada and Kevon Anderson of Cleburne; daughters, Sasha and Emma Smith, both of Cleburne; mother, Melba May of Clarksville, Tenn. and father, Wayne Smith of Hurst, Texas; sister, Jessica Metra of Clarksville, Tenn.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
