Bradley Smyth

Bradley, DeBord Smyth, 87, of Glen Rose, Texas passed away Friday, May 13, 2016 in Glen Rose.
Mr. Smyth was born in Dallas, Texas on Nov. 23, 1928, to Rozilee (DeBord) and Mac C. Smyth.
He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas and SMU, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. Following college, he served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
Bradley married Jo Ann Childress on Nov. 21, 1959 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
After moving to Cleburne, Texas, he was a long time owner of Reid–Smyth Insurance Agency.
A lifelong golfer, Bradley was a member of the golf team in both high school and college.
The Smyths moved to Glen Rose in 2001 to be near the golf courses in Somervell County.
Bradley was a member of the Cross of Christ Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann of Glen Rose; daughter, Carolyn Ellis and husband, Lee, of Bonham, Texas; and granddaughter, Sarah Ellis.
A private service is planned for a later date.
