A celebration of life for Rickey Stepp, 65, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2019 at The Heights Church in Cleburne. Pastor Billy Phillips and Pastor Stephen McCoy will officiate.
Rickey Stepp passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Granbury, Texas. He was born May 16, 1953 in Cleburne to Virginia (Burgess) and Marshall T. Stepp. He married Brenda Ainsworth on June 30, 1978 in Cleburne.
Rickey retired as a Senior Nuclear QA/QC Technician at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. There was nothing more important to Rickey than exemplifying the love of a son, husband, Daddy, and Pops. You could always find him at a ballpark, gym, church camp, or in the backyard never missing an opportunity to be his kids’ number one fan. Rickey was a member of Westhill Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall T. Stepp and twin brother, Nickey Stepp.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Brenda Stepp of Cleburne; daughters, Anna Roe and husband, Eddie of Granbury and Katie Cunningham and husband, Tony of Cleburne; son, Ryan Stepp and wife, Kayla, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Isaak, Jordenne, Trinity, Elliott, Malachi, Beckett, Bennett, Miles, Harper, Jude, Hadley and Hayes; mother, Virginia Stepp of Cleburne; sister, Marsha Rynd of Fort Worth; and a host of other family members and friends.
