Mack Murry Stewart, 77, passed away April 11, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. He was born June 6, 1943, growing up in the Methodist Children’s Home in Waco, TX from 1953 to 1959.
Mack worked for Central Freight Lines for 33 years, winning safe driving awards for most of those years. Mack was a quiet man and loved his wife, children and grandchildren immensely, who returned that love to their husband, dad and “Papa”.
Mack was preceded in death by his father, Goldie Stewart and mother, Dorothy Dunlap-Stewart.
He is survived by wife Naomi Stewart; sons, Michael Stewart and William Murry Stewart and daughter-in-law Misty Norton-Stewart; brothers and sisters, Tommy Stewart, Junior Wayne (Buster) Stewart, Jay Harmon, Ona Meyerkorth and Jan Tredway; and five grandchildren William Patrick Stewart, Wesley Stewart, Walker Stewart, Lexis Norton, and Faith Norton.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian McClure officiating. A reception will follow.
