Obituary for
Richard Stewart
Richard, 89, passed away peacefully at home Feb. 28, 2016. He was born Jan. 15, 1927 to Neva and Raymond Stewart at Canadian, Texas. He lived an extra ordinary life and valued every moment of it. He proudly served his country in WWII, graduated from college, worked for Braniff Airways in Dallas and Los Angeles. He went to work for Sears in 1952 in Dallas. There he traveled several states representing the Sears, Roebuck Foundation. He retired in 1986 from Cleburne where he was manager of the store.
Always a willing volunteer, he helped others by often donating blood and with other needs.
He loved his family and friends and gave them his unconditional love.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice, and son, Michael “Scott” and many relatives, cousins,
brothers–in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and godchildren.
He was an Episcopalian and a celebration of his life will be held at a later time.
