William Lawarence “Larry” Stout passed away in Venus, Texas on August 14, 2020, at the age of 58. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Emmit Lawarence Stout and mother, Clorine (Pierce) Stout. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lou Ann Stout, whom he married in Roanoke, Texas on June 11, 1994. Larry is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Shannon Fae Stout and his son, Dylan Ray Stout; his sister, Teresa Stout Jean and her husband, Clark of Breckenridge, Texas and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Larry was born July 11, 1962 in Breckenridge, Texas. He loved the outdoors, especially fly fishing and camping. He was outgoing and never met a stranger. He was always willing to help anyone in need if he had the means to do so. As a young man he moved to Michigan, where he learned the oil field business and was in the process of trying to become a professional boxer, when he broke the navicular bone in his wrist, which ended his career. One of his greatest memories was having fought against Hector Camacho Senior.
He also was the lead singer for a punk rock band who had the privilege of opening for Alice Cooper one Halloween night at Blondies in Detroit, Michigan.
When the oil field closed, he moved back to Texas where he married and began his family. He worked as a carpenter and roofer, until he was no longer able to do so.
Finally he discovered a talent for making jewelry, where he excelled and was able to use his creativity.
Larry will be greatly missed; he was loved by so many. He will live on in our hearts and stories forever.
