Sybil Williams Morris Sullivan, “Grandmother”, 94 ½ of Rio Vista, Texas, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021 in the Rio Vista Cemetery.
There will be an open visitation from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Sybil was born on November 21, 1926 on the Williams Family Farm located in Palestine, Texas. She was the eldest of four children, Sybil, DJ, Doris and Edith to be born to DeWitt and Jewell (Leach) Williams.
Sybil married Marshall Morris in 1946 and they had two children, Marcia and Ronnie Morris. She was a wonderful mother, loved to cook, and was very involved with all of her family.
Sybil was active in Real Estate and retired from Dillards in 2003 as a furniture sales representative.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ronald Morris, Marshall Morris, and Cleve Sullivan; granddaughter, Suzanne Tomerlin; sister, Doris Lewis; and brother, DJ Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Janik and husband, Michael, of Rio Vista; sister, Edith Michantz of Florida; and grandchildren, Chelsea Morris and husband, Jeremy, David Tomerlin and wife, Amanda, all of Joshua, Texas; Jessica Rankin of Burleson, Texas, Ronnie Mooris Jr. and wife, Samantha, and John Morris and wife, Jessica, all of North Carolina.
Sybil was a loving and dedicated mother who loved her family deeply and will be greatly missed.
