Syble Stacy Creech

A memorial service for Syble Stacy Creech, 93, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.

Syble Stacy Creech passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 in Cleburne. She was born April 11, 1931 in Panama City, Florida to Laura (Mac Knight) and Herman Whitehurst.

Mrs. Creech was a retired credit union loan officer and a member of the Parker Chapter of the Eastern Star in Panama City, Florida. Syble lived in Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Turkey, and Egypt throughout the years, before settling in Cleburne. She was of the Methodist faith. Syble is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jim Ryan; second husband, Thomas (Rudy) Creech; grandchild, Colin Elliott; stepdaughter, Lynn Creech Flora; brother, Hiram Whitehurst; and sisters, Frances Wright and Dorothy Winkle.

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Elliott and Donna Williams and her husband, Rocky; stepdaughters, Dianne Whiddon and husband, Ronny, Denise Vernor and husband, Kevin and Beverly Chauvin and husband, Kenny; grandchildren, Aubrey Williams and wife, Lawrie, Shane Ryan and wife, Danielle, Heather Williams; and Stacy Williams Gaulden and husband, David; step grandchildren, Devin Vernor, Aaron Vernor, Amanda Meyers, Kelly Duncan, Kevin Raffield and Erik Raffield; great grandchildren, Sydney Williams, Morgan Elliott, and Max Ryan; several cousins, other relatives and friends.
