Tamhra Gottfried

A service celebrating the life of Tamhra Rae Gottfried, 82, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the New Beginnings Cowboy Fellowship Church.

Tamhra passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 in Cleburne.

Tamhra Gottfried was born in California on October 23, 1940, the daughter of Margaret (Rush) and William Valentine.

She married Gary Gottfried on December 27, 1959 in Shafter, California.

Tamhra loved the California Redwoods and enjoyed birding, sewing, and quilting. She especially loved her grandkids and cooking for her family.

Tamhra was a member of the New Beginnings Cowboy Fellowship Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary; sister, Joni Royal; brother, Kenneth Valentine; and half sister, Kari Valentine.

Tamhra is survived by her son, Jeffrey Gottfried and wife, Loren, of Cleburne; daughter, Debbie Ward and Charles Daggett, of Whitney, Texas; sister, Jenny Arnold and husband, Marvin; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
