Thomas Jefferson Cochran

A graveside service for Thomas Jefferson Cochran, 87, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Keene Memorial Park with Bunny Reid officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Thomas Jefferson Cochran passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 in Cleburne. He was born October 28, 1936 in Dallas to Kinzie and Gertrude (Bridwell) Cochran.

Thomas was a retired broom maker with the E.K. Birdwell Company. In his younger years he played minor league baseball in El Paso. He enjoyed golfing, dogs, horse and dog races and delivering Meals on Wheels. Thomas was a member of the New Beginning Fellowship Cowboy Church where he was very active.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife Beth Cochran; son Robert Cochran; sister Kathleen Grimes; nephew Kenny Grimes; and great granddaughter Hallie Jess.

Survivors include his sons, Mickey Cochran and wife Cindy and Ronnie Gentry, all of Cleburne; daughters, Kathy Marchman and husband Roy of Cleburne, Sheri Darnell and husband Bud of Alabama and Cindy Cochran of Cleburne; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
