Obituary for T J TINGLE
Services for T.J. Tingle, 89, of Blum, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charlie Tingle, Luke Tingle, Jacob Grafa, Jarod Grafa, Josef Grafa, and Garret Grover. Honorary pallbearers will be Juan Cortenas, Jose Cortenas, Bill Nix, Chuck Tingle, and Gordy Bobbitt.
T.J. passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 in Itasca, Texas. He was born Jan. 7, 1926 in Fort Worth, Texas to Meda (Horton) and Charlie Z. Tingle. T.J. served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He retired from Southwestern Bell and was a member of Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Reba Tingle; and son, Bert Tingle.
T.J. is survived by his son Don Tingle of Blum; daughter, Linda Grafa and husband, David, of Godley; grandchildren, Charlie Tingle and wife, Rachell, Luke Tingle, Leslie Grover and husband, Carey, Jacob Grafa and wife, Amy, Jarod Grafa and wife, Melissa, and Josef Grafa and wife, Andrea; and ten great-grandchildren,
