Todd Benge

Todd Ansel Benge, 56, of Godley, TX, tragically passed away on December 10, 2024, at his home. A family man, businessman, and avid fisherman, Benge was admired by friends and family for his charisma, dependability, kindness, and loyalty. He was a gentle, loving spirit, and protective of his loved ones. In addition, he cherished his community and the relationships he built as the owner of TNT Pest Control in Godley for nearly 20 years. He was extremely proud of his expertise and lasting legacy serving his community.

Benge was born in Washington, DC, to Ansel and Augusta Benge, on August 8, 1968. He lived in Maryland until moving to Texas after high school where he met his wife and soulmate of 35 years, Teresa (Dodd) Benge. The two raised a family and started their thriving business.

Benge was a coach, manager, and devoted follower of his boys' sports with the Little Dribblers, Quad County Football Association, Woodpeckers Baseball, Godley High School, and East Texas Baptist University.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ansel Lee Benge.

Benge is survived by his mother Augusta Benge of Farrell, PA; wife Teresa (Dodd) Benge; daughter Nicky (Scott) McAnally of North Richland Hills, TX; sons Dylan (Bailey) Benge of Hallsville, TX, and Drew (Madelynn) Benge of Godley, TX; grandchildren Gavin, Zane, Gage, Brooklyn, Wade, Baylor, Beau, Molly, Blakely, and Avalynn; sisters Valerie Baker of Sharon, PA, Victoria Birkett, of Gaithersburg, MD, and Vanessa (Pete) Scherzer of Richmond, VA; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 10 am and a Memorial Service at 11am on December 14th at Rosser Funeral Home, 1664 W. Henderson, Cleburne, TX.
