A memorial service celebrating the life of Gilbert Torres, 89, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Santa Fe Trails Assisted Living, 402 S. Colonial Drive, Cleburne, Texas 76033.
Mr. Torres passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born in New York City, New York on December 26, 1930, the son of Lillian (Ledesma) and Alturo Torres.
Mr. Torres served his country in the United States Army from the early 1950’s until his retirement in1971.
He and his wife, Amanda, were married on April 1, 1968 in Bel Air, Maryland.
Mr. Torres was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
He is survived by his daughters, Toni Hayward of Hillsboro, Texas and Nancy Miller of Gwynn Oak, Maryland; grandchildren, Ethan, Benjamin and Zachary Hayward and Eric Yockey; and one great grandchild.
