Graveside services for Mary Jean Triplett, 84, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Rosehill Cemetery. Bro. Kern Porter will officiate, assisted by Bro. Jerry Nelson.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Triplett, Joshua Hutchins, Joseph Ford, Marcus Ford, Dillon Ford, and Konnor Stone. Honorary pallbearers are Kent Williams, Kery Williams, Jim Manasco, Ronny McBroom, John Gist, Joe George, and Loyd Hudzietz.
Mrs. Triplett passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Hillsboro, Texas on March 14, 1927, the daughter of Jewel Rebecca (Howard) and Marcus M. Dollar.
Mary Jean was baptized at the age of 17 and was a member of Westhill Church of Christ. She married George Harold Triplett on March 31, 1946 in Lorena, Texas and was the bookkeeper for his business for many years. Mary Jean loved her family and loved playing golf.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, George.
Mary Jean Triplett is survived by her son, Ray Triplett and wife, Ellen, of Granbury, Texas; daughters, Denise Hutchins and husband, Gil, of Hewitt, Texas, Jill Ford and husband, Phil, of Mansfield, Texas, and Wendy Ford and husband, Mark, of Arlington, Texas.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kyle Triplett; Kimberly and husband, Ken, Stone; Rebecca, Sarah and Josh and wife, Cathy, Hutchins; Joseph Ford; Lauren and husband, Justin, Pennuell; Mary, Marcus, and Dillon Ford; great-grandson, Konnor Stone; sister, Bobbie Matthews of Burleson and her children, Pat and Pam; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Dot Dollar of Arlington and their sons, Dennis and Steve; and best friend, Marinelle Counts.
