Services for Jeanette “Nanny” Trussell, 82, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery. The Rev. Dave Routson will officiate. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Williams, Melvin Harris, Jr., Kyle Ryan Minnick, Jr., Dustin Harris, Josh Minnick, and Gregory Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Harris, Sr., David Watson, Terry Reusch, Matt Reid, Mark Trussell, and Mike Trussell.
Ms. Trussell passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 in Cleburne, Texas. She was born March 9, 1930 in Cleburne, Texas to Harry Miles and Mary Marchman Miles. She married Abe Trussell on July 13, 1946 in Glen Rose, Texas. Ms. Trussell was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church Rio Vista. Her passion for life was being “Nanny” to all of her many children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Abe Trussell; sons-in-law, Butch Williams and Bill Adair; grandson-in-law, Kyle Minnick, Sr.; and grandson, Mike Williams.
She is survived by her daughters, Kay Gilley and husband Mike of Mineral Wells and Linda Williams of Rio Vista; grandchildren; Tammy Watson and husband David, Melvin Harris, Jr. and wife Cheryl and their father, Melvin Harris, Sr., Scotty Williams and wife Cindy, and Danny Williams; great-grandchildren, Kyle Ryan, Rebecca, Dustin, Josh, Gregory, Taylor and husband Matt; great-great-granddaughters, Brooke and awaiting the arrival of Gracie; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family sends a heart-felt thank you to all the staff and Mission Hospice and Heritage Trails.
