Obituary for
Lillian Irene Upchurch (Musick)
Lillian Irene Upchurch, born May 11, 1931, 84, went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2015, at her daughters home in Baytown, Texas after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 at the First United Pentecostal Family Church. Elder Bishop F. L. Ashley and Pastor DeWaun Ashley will officiate.
Burial will follow at Greenacres Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5 – 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be D.J. Chapman, Gentry Ashley, Bruce Washburn, Glenn Wilson,
Trevin Green and Rocky Hassell.
A long time Cleburne resident, Lillian was married to Lewis R. Upchurch, on August 28, 1947, in Cleburne.
She was a member of The Family Church for 30 years.
Lillian was preceded in death by her father, Abraham L. Musick and mother, Willie Mae Osborne Wilkerson; husband, Lewis R. Upchurch; her son, Tommy Upchurch and her daughter, Helen Upchurch Pierce;
She was also preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Belva Fergerson, Bobby Musick, Martha Leonard, Mildred Haddock, John Musick, Lila Mae George, and Mamie Bell Robbins.
She is survived by son, Richard Upchurch and wife, Nancy, of Lamesa; daughters, Kathleen Upchurch Dugan of Odessa, Texas and Betty Upchurch Miller and husband, Roy, of Baytown;
Grandchildren, Cheryleen Dugan Glisson of Odessa, Texas, Rhonda Dugan Hargrove, Johnny Dugan of Odessa, April Upchurch of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Shawn Huffaker of Orange, Texas; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Lorene Smith of Amarillo, Billie Jo Parrish and husband, Joe, of Abilene, Texas and Millie Boylard and husband; Ed, of Cisco, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
