Roger Voss Jr

It is with deep sadness Roger and Anita Voss announce the passing of their beloved son, Roger Harrison Voss, Jr., after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services for Roger Jr., 50, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home. Gary Shaw will officiate.
Burial will follow in Baker-Lain Cemetery.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Roger Jr. was born November 23, 1966 in Dallas, Texas and attended Highland Park schools until moving to Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 1985. He graduated from Mesa State University in Grand Junction, Colorado with an English degree.
Roger’s love of music, reading and writing led him to many adventures. He was also an accomplished skier and golfer in his younger days.
His sweet smile will always be remembered and missed by his family and anyone who knew him.
Roger is survived by his parents; sister, Susan Hickey, of Centennial, Colorado; and her two children, Sofia and Rhodes, who adored their “Uncle Roger”.
Very special thanks to his Aunt Karen Shaw who cared so much for him and to her husband, Gary.
