Cleburne—Graveside service for Vernon H. Voth, 92, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at East Cooper Cemetery in Hitchcock, Oklahoma. Pastors Henry and Bunny Reid will officiate.
The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011 at Rosser Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at Crossroads Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church in Joshua on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Voth passed away on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born Jan. 23, 1919 in Hitchcock, Oklahoma to Abraham Voth and Emma Mier Voth. He married Alice Rose Patzer on April 13, 1941 in Oneida, S.D. Mr. Voth was a retired farmer and a member of Crossroads Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church in Joshua, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenneth Voth.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Alice Rose Patzer Voth of Cleburne; son, Gary Voth and wife, Martie, of Keene; daughter, Bunny Reid and husband, Henry, of Cleburne; grandsons, Nick Voth and wife, Julie, of Caldwell, Idaho, Shawn Reid and wife, Teresa, of Cleburne; granddaughter, Terri Romero and husband, Jose, of Miami, Florida; four great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
