Funeral services for Mary Beth Ward, 77, lifelong resident of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Freeman officiating.
A private burial will be held in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery following the service.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ward passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 in Cleburne. She was born in Cleburne on Aug. 17, 1936, the daughter of Lillie (Young) and Joe B. Post.
Mary Beth married Virgil Ward on August 17, 1985 in Cleburne. She was self employed; looking after children for most of her life. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Cleburne where she worked in the nursery.
Mary Beth was preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Walter Young; and brother, Joe Young Post.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil Ward of Cleburne; step-daughters, Joy Beth Ward of Joshua, Texas and Elizabeth Ward of Lillian, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Brill, Courtney Brill Frazer, Michael Trichel, Brandon Nance, and Jacob Nance; nine great grandchildren; cousin, Tammy Young Derden and husband, Murray; and numerous other family and friends who loved her.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
