David Watson

Funeral services for David Watson, 57, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Chisholm Trail Church in Cleburne. Pastor Wade Yarbro will officiate; assisted by Melvin Harris, Jr. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery in Rio Vista, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cary Patterson, Donald Duffy, Matt Reid, Dustin Harris, Dylan Patterson and Quentin Okafor. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Moore and Melvin Harris, Jr.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Watson passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Fort Worth on August 9, 1959, the son of Katherine (McMillan) and Bert Alexander Watson.
David married Tammy Harris on February 4, 2006 in Cleburne. He was employed at Rangaire Corp. and was a member of the Chisholm Trail Church.
David was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Melvin Harris, Sr.; and grandmother, Jeanette Trussell.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Watson; sons, Kyle Ryan Minnick, Jr. and Joshua David Minnick, all of Cleburne; mother-in-law, Kay Gilley of Cleburne; brother-in-law, Melvin Harris, Jr. and wife, Cheryl; niece, Taylor Reid and husband, Matt; nephew, Dustin Harris, all of Rio Vista; two great nieces; and very close family friends who were like brothers, Cary Patterson and wife, Karyn, Glenn Moore and wife, Vicki, all of Cleburne, and Donald Duffy and wife, Judy, of Mansfield, Texas.
