Services for Dorothy Lou White, 85, of Blum, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the chapel at First United Methodist Church, Cleburne, Texas. The burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving, Texas. The Rev. Robert Herzig will officiate. The family will receive visitors 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the chapel.
Dorothy went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 13, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born March 27, 1930 in Haslet, Texas to Pearl (Cash) Jackson and Benjamin Jackson. Dorothy married James Charles White on July 15, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a homemaker and loved family gatherings. Dorothy loved to cook and she gave selflessly to others. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family wants to give special thanks to Mission Hospice for their loving care for both of their parents.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Charles White; son, Stephen Charles White; and four brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann Kerbow and husband, Gary, of Southlake, Texas; son, Mark White and wife, Cheri, of Cleburne, Texas; grandchildren, Bryan Kerbow and wife Brandy, Kerri Purcell, Sara Budinskiy and husband, Roman, and Chad White; great-grandchildren, Addison and Sydney Kerbow, Harris and Clayton Purcell; sisters, Betty Knox and husband, Wayne, of Haslet, Texas, Leota Lasater of Eagle Mountain Lake, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
