Pastor Farris Donald Whitehead
A celebration of the life and legacy of Pastor Farris Donald Whitehead, 64, of Cleburne, Texas will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at Eastern Heights Church. Burial will follow in Cresson Cemetery. Ivan Tait will officiate. The family will receive visitors 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013 at Eastern Heights Church.
Pastor Farris went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 02, 2013 surrounded by family in Cleburne, Texas. He was born March 9, 1949 in Cleburne, Texas to Othe Millard Whitehead and Virgie Bayless Whitehead. Pastor Farris married the love of his life, Susan Conley on Feb. 17, 1967 in Rio Vista, Texas. He served as pastor of Eastern Heights Church on Jan. 1, 1980 and served there faithfully for over 33 years and was greatly loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pastor Farris is survived by his wife, Susan Whitehead of Cleburne; sons, Daniel Farris Whitehead and wife Rebekah of Alpine and Barry Donald Whitehead and wife Kristi of Cleburne; daughters, Stephanie Sepulveda and husband Keith, Marcy Hughes and husband Kody all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Tiffany, Tyler, Destini, Danielle, Austin, Madison, Preston and wife Allie, Gavin, Kailey, BreAnna, Asya, Ethan, Chloe, Aubrey, and Julia; brothers, Bill Whitehead and wife Jeanetta of Fort Worth, Larry Whitehead and wife June of Alvarado, and Gary Whitehead and wife Kathy of Cleburne; sisters, Gloria Goforth and husband Don of Oklahoma, Joyce Thurlby and Husband Dale of Alaska, Odena Mitchell and husband Cordell of Midland, and Pat Bolden and husband David of Mexia; and numerous other relatives and friends who love him.
Memorials may be made to the Eastern Heights Building Fund at 1315 Grandview Hwy, Cleburne, Texas 76031.
