Obituary for Ora Dell Whitehead (Davis)
Funeral services for Ora Dell Whitehead, 90, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Ora Dell Whitehead, beloved wife and mother, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in Cleburne. She was born in Grandview, Texas on January 26, 1927, the daughter of Rebecca Jane and William Henry Davis.
Ora Dell married Robert Whitehead on January 24, 1948 in Cleburne. She was a homemaker, a Pastor's wife and a member of College Heights Baptist Church.
Ora Dell was preceded in death by her son, Glen Whitehead; brothers, Gab Davis, Ervin Davis, and Wilson Davis; and sisters, Ellen Ruth Davis and Mary Nell Tolleson.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Whitehead of Cleburne; son, Bobby Whitehead and wife, Wendi, of Burleson, Texas; daughter, Becky Schisler and husband, Larry Sr., of Cleburne; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children At Heart Ministries, 1301 N. Mays Street, Round Rock, TX 78664.
