Roberta Louise Clayburn Wilson, age 69, passed away peacefully on Monday April 12, 2021 in Ft Worth, TX.
Roberta was born in Weehawken, NJ on January 18, 1952 to Gerald and Muriel Santangelo. She graduated high school at Chisholm Trail Academy and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in social sciences at Andrews University. Roberta had many different jobs in her lifetime including being a Mary Kay consultant and a teacher's aid during her children's school years but the majority of her career was spent working at Huguley Hospital. She worked there for 30 years in various positions including the business office, admissions, and the switchboard operator. Many would not recognize her face but they would remember the kind voice on the telephone line.
Roberta will be fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, crazy sense of humor, kind giving heart and her fighting spirit that kept her going through tough times. She enjoyed worshipping God with her church family at The Heights, loved going out to eat and socializing with family and friends, was an avid weather watcher, and loved all animals but especially cows.
Roberta is survived by her husband, David Wilson; her daughter, Kristina Tole and her husband Andy Tole; her son, Michael Clayburn and his wife, Sylvia Clayburn; Grandchildren, Amarys Clayburn, Zachariah Clayburn, Bethany Hayes and Kyleah Tole; her sister, Patricia Warnock and many nieces and nephews.
