Obituary for Emma Madonna Wilson (Grantham)
Graveside services for Emma Madonna Wilson, 93, of Dalhart, Texas will be conducted at
11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016, at High Ridge Cemetery in Stanberry, Missouri. Ray Christman will officiate.
Mrs. Wilson will lie in state Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Gentry County, Missouri on August 5, 1922, the daughter of Leola (Liggett) and Roy O. Grantham.
Mrs. Wilson was retired from Midwest University in Maryville, Missouri, where she worked in the mail room. She was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Garnett Nelson.
She is survived by her son, Bud Nelson of Dalhart; grandchildren, Karie Christman and husband, Ray, of Scottsdale, Arizona, Steven Nelson of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Michelle Cearley and husband, Thomas of Boulder, Colorado; great grandchildren, Kayla Nelson, Haley Nelson, Benjamin Christman and Jacob Roberts.
