Eric "Booger" Wilson
Funeral services for Eric “Booger” Wilson, 39, of Godley, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Godley Western Fellowship, 988 N. Pearson Street (FM 2331), Godley, Texas 76044. Pastors Don DeFoor and Robert Herzig will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Wilson, Steve Trammell, John Pitcock, Barry Rose, Ian Sanders, Donny Garcia, Chad Chafin, Andy Wilmont, Fernando Rivas, Larry Vereen, Chris Adair, Walter Presley, Michael Johnson, John Cantrell, Jelle Ziljstra, Pete Rodriguez, Josh Bigham, Christopher Smyth and Scott Fontenot.
Eric Wilson passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at home in Godley. He was born in Cleburne, Texas on October 30, 1976, the son of Jan (Harris) and Rick Wilson.
Eric married Jana Butler on September 20, 2002 in Cleburne.
He grew up in Cleburne, Texas surrounded by his friends and family. Eric graduated from Cleburne High School and went on to attend college at TSTC Diesel in Waco, Texas where he earned a masters in his field. He worked in that field for 20 years before he opened his business, Booger Red's in Godley.
Eric's joy came from helping out others and giving back to his community. He loved his girls, his family and his sweet friends.
Eric was a member of Godley Western Fellowship.
He is survived by his wife, Jana Wilson of Godley; daughters, Jayden and Jesley, both of Godley; mother, Jan Pitcock and husband, Randy, of Cleburne; father, Rick Wilson and wife, Lea, of Gorman, Texas; grandmother, Shirley Wilson of Nemo, Texas; brothers, Jeremy Wilson and wife, Candace, of Joshua, Texas and John Pitcock and wife, Andrea, of Godley; sisters, Stephanie Smyth and husband, Christopher, of Allen, Texas and Christi Garcia and husband, Donny, of Fort Worth, Texas; mother-in-law, Sandie Butler of Grandview, Texas; father-in-law, David Butler, of Cleburne; sister-in-law, Mindy Butler Osborn of Arlington, Texas; nieces, Avery and Hallie Garcia and Lily Smyth; nephews, Lucas Smyth, Riley Wilson and Ashton and Ander Pitcock; and many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a scholarship program set up in his name: The Eric Wilson Memorial Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank in Godley.
