Rojeane Collins Wood
Arlington – A private family graveside service for Rojeane Collins Wood, 73, will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at Rosehill Cemetery. A memorial service for family and friends will be conducted the same day at 3 p.m. at Fielder Road Baptist Church, 2011 S. Fielder Road, Arlington, Texas. The Rev. Jerry Morris and the Rev. Gary Smith will officiate.
Rojeane went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 in Arlington, Texas. She was born Jan. 3, 1939 in Lubbock, Texas to Dorsey Collins and Robyna Melton Collins. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington and was active in the choir.
Rojeane was a lover of people. She made friends quickly and kept them forever. She lived a life devoted to the Lord, her family and her friends. She found wonder and delight in the simplest moments of life.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Rojeane is survived by her sons, Chip Wood of Arlington, Browning Wood and his children, Braiden, Baylee and their mother, Ronda of Orlando, Florida, and Brendon Wood and wife Heather of Lubbock and their daughter, Lexi; daughter, Collynn Harper and husband Todd of Orlando, Florida and their children, Davis, Bethany, Catherine, Wesley, and Tate; sisters, Pinki Meals and husband Dennis and their children Denise Carr and husband Randy, and Anne Weiskittel and husband Adam, Nan Smith and husband Dick and their children Meg Smith, Katy Trout and husband Matt, and Mallory Smith.
